Romania defeats Germany in table tennis Group C, score 3-0The Romanian table tennis team, consisting of Daniela Dodean, Elizabeta Samara and Iulia Necula has defeated Germany on Wednesday, score 3-0 in the first game of Group C. The results of the game: Daniela Dodean – Jiaduo Wu 3-0 (11-9, 11-8, 11-7); Elizabeta Samara – Elke Schall 3-0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-9); Elizabeta Samara/Iulia Necula – Zhengi Barthel/Elke Schall 3-1 (12-10, 9-11, 11-4, 12-10). On Thursday the Romanian table tennis team will play against Hong Kong and against Poland. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the Olympic tournament’s quarterfinals.
